In this micro-learning video, Tom Swann from Lumina Intelligence introduces the Location of Consumption dimension within the Lumina Intelligence Eating & Drinking Out Panel.
As food to go continues to grow in popularity, it’s increasingly useful to understand where those meals are actually being consumed. Using the panel, users can explore detailed insights on whether consumers are eating at the brand’s premises, at home, at work, while commuting, or on the move.
Tom demonstrates how to filter this data by brand or dish to reveal actionable trends. For example, viewing Greggs’ data shows a year-on-year increase in on-premise consumption, while consumption at home and during commutes has dipped slightly. Similarly, analysis of chips, wedges and fries shows a shift towards in-brand consumption.
These insights can help operators and suppliers align strategies with evolving consumer habits – whether that’s optimising packaging, adjusting marketing, or enhancing service models.
Watch the video to see how easy it is to unlock powerful behavioural data using Lumina Intelligence’s Eating & Drinking Out Panel.
